Lakes Gas again presented at the 55th Eau Claire Farm Show in Wisconsin March 6th and 7th at the Chippewa Valley Expo Center. The show featured farm-centered products from all over the area.
Lakes Gas Western Wisconsin Sales Representative Jim Gorecki said a snowstorm Tuesday resulted in a smaller-than-usual crowd, but Wednesday had more robust attendance. He estimates about 4 to 5 thousand people attended over the two days. “I only talked to 21 people my first day,” Gorecki said. “But my second day, I talked to over 200.”
People stopped by the Lakes Gas booth to talk about propane needs for their farm operations and pick up promotional items including pens, flashlights, keychains, and the most popular item- Lakes Gas logoed pizza cutters.
Other booths included machinery manufacturer Caterpillar, farm machinery suppliers, soil drying systems, and drone-operated surveyors. “A lot of people that come have been in the agricultural business for years and make an annual trip to the show,” Gorecki said. “Some are retired but want to see the latest and greatest stuff.”
